The reason why I have written this guide is because of you, my clients or potential clients. So many people call or e-mail me enquiring about the process that we call Debt Counselling.

As I said earlier on, making the decision is only the first step,but the most important one. As such it should be an informed decision and I hope that this guide will in some way assist you.

The aim of this guide is therefore to provide you with answers to some of the questions you might have and to give you a bit of insight into our industry. I am going to do my best to explain the requirements, the process, the legal aspects, creditors, budgets, payments and everything else involved.
